Incorporating English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) in English Language Arts and Reading Instruction
During this one-day training, participants will discover several effective strategies for incorporating the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) in their English Language Arts and Reading classes. Participants will closely examine the ELPS and look for ways to incorporate them on a daily basis while addressing the language needs of English learners in the classroom. This interactive session is practical and appropriate for teachers of ELAR in grades 3-12.

During this one-day training, participants will discover several effective strategies for incorporating the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) in their Career & Technical classes. Participants will closely examine the ELPS and look for ways to incorporate them on a daily basis while addressing the language needs of English learners in the classroom. This interactive session is practical and appropriate for teachers of CTE in grades 7-12.
